Short Discussions

I am sick of writing long, well-researched posts. Trust me, I take no offense that you are probably sick of reading them. Quite frankly I am just plain tired.

There is too much deliberate obfuscation going on these days. I don't have the time to consistently combat it with 800-word essays. Libya is a prime example. Things have been deliberately complicated to such an extent that the issue, tragically, has permanently become a "what...uhhh...the hell...just happened?" issue. Indefinitely! They've been effective, no?! We know that this dishonor cannot stand, but given the way they've successfully muddied the waters, 'he-said-she-said' details are not how we win this fight.

A receding number of people in our society have the will (or time) to work through all of the disinformation and propaganda currently distributed by our government. We must be honest with ourselves: there are departments currently occupying entire wings of three-letter agencies where analysts are dedicated around-the-clock to work through and decode disinformation from foreign governments. The media used to provide this full-time service to Citizens of the United States, but this is obviously not the case any longer.

The one thing we have on our side is simple principle. Moving forward, my goal will be to point out, in glaringly obvious ways, the unprincipled inconsistencies of the opposition's logic. Posts will be kept to short critical thinking exercises.

Comments are not only encouraged, but necessary! This is our practice at formulating responses that frame the issue in a way that no one can argue with! The end-state goal is to have a few tested questions ready in our back pocket to ask that asshole commie family member or friend that voted for Obama (the same one that always cleans you out of Heineken when they come over for a holiday). When they can only regurgitate government propaganda talking points and resort to Alinsky-type character assassination, your time to shine will just be getting started.

Anyway, the gig is up for Liberty in America if we cannot take back the culture. The GOP is dead. The only thing that will win at this point is to take the libertarian critical-thinking red-pill, get off the hamster wheel to nowhere and unequivocally win every bar-room debate with simple logic. This must be done swiftly - no filibusters!

Simple logic and truth, if delivered in 20 second bursts, will be like dumping water on a progressive-control-freak Gremlin. Just serve it up, stand back and watch them meltdown. Let others see you do it. I look forward to our future discussions. Stay tuned...

For CCROWWS

You are not forgotten.
---
NOT of the princes and prelates with periwigged charioteers
Riding triumphantly laurelled to lap the fat of the years,—
Rather the scorned—the rejected—the men hemmed in with the spears;

The men of the tattered battalion which fights till it dies,
Dazed with the dust of the battle, the din and the cries.
The men with the broken heads and the blood running into their eyes.

Not the be-medalled Commander, beloved of the throne,
Riding cock-horse to parade when the bugles are blown,
But the lads who carried the hill and cannot be known.

Not the ruler for me, but the ranker, the tramp of the road,
The slave with the sack on his shoulders pricked on with the goad,
The man with too weighty a burden, too weary a load.

Others may sing of the wine and the wealth and the mirth,
The portly presence of potentates goodly in girth;—
Mine be the dirt and the dross, the dust and scum of the earth!

Theirs be the music, the colour, the glory, the gold;
Mine be a handful of ashes, a mouthful of mould.
Of the maimed, of the halt and the blind in the rain and the cold—
Of these shall my songs be fashioned, my tales be told.

AMEN.
